MIS program is to provide an environment for effective teaching and
quality research, to foster IT professionals, and to promote awareness
and application of MIS.
The Goals of the MIS are:

3. Promote automation
in commerce
The greatest challenge faced with MIS is not in digitization of
traditional management methods. In the process of transforming into
an information society, we need to restructure and reconstruct the
existing management system. Consequently, commerce and its teaching
have to be adjusted by establishing new theory and conducting related
experiment.
4. Study of cross-strait
IT policy and development strategy
In the global environment today, businesses increase exchanges and
cooperation, the mainland economy and industry will certainly have
more impact on and correlation with worldwide enterprises. Our MIS
program will promote academic exchanges and the study of IT development
policy and management issues on both sides.
